2011 Band Camp for Band Students
Band camp is mandatory for all band students. It takes place a week or so before school officially begins. Aside from learning marching and music it’s an opportunity to meet new band members and get reacquainted with old ones.

5:00-5:45 P.M. Dinner
6:00-9:00 P.M. Marching

Please let your section leader know if you are having problems with getting a ride to rehearsals. We can help you figure it out, but only if you let us know ahead of time!

Food & Drink:
- Dinner is pre-ordered at the first day of band camp. The cost is $5 a day for 4 days. You have the option of purchasing a catered meal with the boosters or bring your own dinner.
- Bring water! Bottles of water, sports drinks, thermos or hydration packs are a very good idea!
Dress
- Casual – shorts and t-shirts
- Athletic shoes and socks. NO SANDALS OR BARE FEET!
What to Bring
- Sunscreen, very important
- Sunglasses
- Hat
- Instrument/ mouthpiece if not stored at school
- Sweatshirt – for evening session if it cools off
- Money for dinner each night unless you are bringing dinner on your own
- Your smiles, willingness to learn and great attitude
