Competitions - for Parents
- If you are a volunteer chaperone, check in time will be at the band room at call time with the students. Parents will be expected to ride the bus with students.
- If you are going to support your student at the site it is best to arrive in the stadium a few groups before the actual performance time. Performance times will be on the call time sheets with the address of the site.
- In order to get into the stadium, parents must purchase a ticket from the host school. Chaperones will be given a wristband with the students at no cost.
- Please cheer for our school when students enter and exit the field! We like loud fans!
- After the performance you can meet students back at the bus to visit, however, you cannot take the students with you when you leave. Students must ride the bus to and from the school together. If an exception needs to be made please contact Ms. Luck.
- Students will be staying until the awards ceremony before they leave the host school. Check the call time sheet for specific times.
- Once we are on route, students will be asked to call parents when the bus reaches the 94 freeway to give parents a heads up on time for pickup, keep in mind, students cannot leave until the trailer is unloaded and the room is clean! It is important that students stay and take care of this place so parents, please don’t rush the students once they arrive at SCHS.
- Once they get an okay from their section leader, they are allowed to leave. Please make plans to have your students picked up so the staff can also leave when everything is put away.
