Message from Ms. Luck
Dear parents and students,
I just would like to send out a special word of thanks for those parents that have been continuously volunteering and believing in the program. A special shout out to those who volunteered to drive for the middle school visit on the 1st. We know that this is sometimes difficult when things are on such short notice, but again, I say thank you for your support. It is amazing that our parents are able to mobilize when things are important and make it happen for the students. I believe we have one of the strongest parent organizations on Steele Canyon's campus.
I am pleased to report the healthy progress and steady growth of our music program and more importantly of the students who are dedicated to quality music making.
In our music program we provide an opportunity for artistic expression that a students could not experience on his/her own. But our program goes beyond the development of basic skills and artistic talent. We are dedicated to developing the following values:
* Individual responsibility
* Group and individual respect
* Personal Trust
* Genuine caring
* Commitment to our musical family
The implementation, reinforcement and integration of these disciplines serve as the foundation for our program.
I again thank you for your support, and remind you that YOU are a key ingredient in our success. I look forward to seeing all of you on the 15th, 7:00 P.M. for our monthly parent meeting to discuss upcoming events.
